La estimaci\u00f3n para el a\u00f1o 2050 es que la poblaci\u00f3n mundial ascienda hasta los 9.700 millones de habitantes siendo en la actualidad 7.700 millones pudiendo llegar a 11.000 millones en el 2100.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Importancia de la agricultura de precisi\u00f3n y nutrici\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ya hemos indicado que es la <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/agricultura-de-precision-con-sensores-y-otras-tecnologias\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">precision farming<\/a><\/strong> en otro art\u00edculo. B\u00e1sicamente es llevar la tecnolog\u00eda a la agricultura, tanto a nivel exterior como del subsuelo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Esto convierte a la agricultura en agrotecnolog\u00eda con los siguientes puntos:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong> Transform the agricultural sector <\/strong> at all levels, modernizing the entire production chain from planting, soil treatment, production and distribution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Make <strong> agriculture more competitive <\/strong> by facilitating the creation of cooperatives and controlled distribution chains.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong> Improve <\/strong> <strong> quality <\/strong> both in terms of nutrients and product properties.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong> Cover food needs <\/strong>, achieving high productivity in a given crop, with more plantations <strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/tag\/cultivos-intensivos\/\" target=\" _self \"> intensive and super intensive <\/a> <\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong> Take care of the environment <\/strong> and make it sustainable, avoid chemical products and improve the subsoil with an agro-ecological compost.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong> Control pests <\/strong> <strong> with <a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/biodynamic-agriculture\/\" target=\"_self\"> biodynamic agriculture <\/a> <\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/agrotecnologica-en-valladolid-agricultura-4-0\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Agriculture 4.0<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More and more technical data we have to get used to, even with English terminology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"656\" src=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2020-agricultura-4.0.png\" alt=\"Agricultura de precisi\u00f3n y nutrici\u00f3n\" class=\"wp-image-81153\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Precision agriculture and nutrition<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Internet platforms to group massive data, new technologies both at a mechanical, biological or chemical level are making agriculture take a 180 degree turn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>But invisibly, another great challenge has been seen as an iceberg, and this is to produce not only the necessary quantity but with sufficient nutritional properties.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>This iceberg to which we refer has begun to be called Invisible Hunger.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Challenges of the agrarian world<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>With everything described above, we see two great challenges in precision agriculture and nutrition<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong> Increase <\/strong> <strong> production <\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong> Improve <\/strong> <strong> nutritional quality <\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Arable area worldwide<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">We are at a point where it is almost impossible to significantly increase the arable area worldwide, and the consolidated data shows with the graph that the number of global arable areas measured in millions of hectares is falling to 72%, with information of the year 2012 and from the <strong> FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations). <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"679\" height=\"381\" src=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Hectareas.png\" alt=\"Hect\u00e1reas cultivable a nivel mundial\" class=\"wp-image-81114\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Arable hectares worldwide-Source: FAO; Alexandratos, N. &amp; Bruinsna, J. This should fill us with peace of mind, since it seems that the technology we have today is capable of feeding up to twice the world's population. And as soon as we rely on improvements in techniques and technology, that is, precision agriculture, everything indicates that the amount of food should not be difficult to obtain. Fortunately, this figure is in sharp decline.
