{"id":90296,"date":"2025-02-10T15:20:33","date_gmt":"2025-02-10T13:20:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/?p=90296"},"modified":"2025-09-09T16:22:47","modified_gmt":"2025-09-09T14:22:47","slug":"sensor-de-radiacion-solar-para-agricultura-e-invernaderos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/sensor-de-radiacion-solar-para-agricultura-e-invernaderos\/","title":{"rendered":"Solar radiation sensor for agriculture and greenhouses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The <strong>solar radiation sensor<\/strong> measures global solar radiation, that is, the sum at the measurement point of the direct, diffuse and reflected components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Features of the solar radiation sensor <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">It consists of a high-precision <strong>silicon photodiode<\/strong> located inside a plastic housing that provides a path for air currents to cool the interior by convection, minimizing heating of the sensor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size translation-block\">The cutting ring provides excellent <strong>cosine response<\/strong>, avoiding measurement errors.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">A <strong>cosine response solar radiation sensor<\/strong> is a device designed to measure solar radiation accurately, taking into account the variation in the angle of incidence of the radiation. Each sensor is calibrated against a secondary standard under natural light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">E<sub>\u03b8\u200b<\/sub>=E<sub>0<\/sub>\u200b\u22c5cos(\u03b8)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">E<sub>\u03b8<\/sub> is the radiation measured at an angle \u03b8<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">E<sub>0<\/sub> is the radiation when the light hits the sensor perpendicularly (\u03b8 =0 \u00baC).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u03b8 is the angle of incidence of the radiation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The solar radiation sensor with cosine response allows measuring the amount of light available for photosynthesis (PAR \u2013 photosynthetically active radiation).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The readings are measured every 30 minutes and if we add all the readings from the same day we will have the data that we are interested in showing, <strong>the Daily Light Integral per day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"637\" src=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/radiacion-en-ingles.png\" alt=\"Sensor de radiaci\u00f3n solar\" class=\"wp-image-90303\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/radiacion-en-ingles.png 1024w, https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/radiacion-en-ingles-300x187.png 300w, https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/radiacion-en-ingles-768x478.png 768w, https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/radiacion-en-ingles-18x12.png 18w, https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/radiacion-en-ingles-600x373.png 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Transpiration<\/strong> is the vaporization of liquid water from plant tissues and its subsequent release into the atmosphere through the stomata.
