In order to expand the benefits of permaculture and sustainable horticulture in both social, economic, environmental and cultural aspects, we are going to see different applications that this field has and the benefits of applying agricultural probes and sensors for greater profitability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specific applications of permaculture and horticulture<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Polycultures<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Avoid monocultures and promote the planting of a variety of crops in the same space, previously analyzing what is of interest in each place according to the morphology of the land. This promotes biodiversity and reduces the risk of pests and diseases, favoring the growth of each variety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Distribute zones and sectors<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design of permaculture is based on the idea of distributing cultivation by zones and sectors. The crops are organized according to their frequency of use and needs. The sectors are organized according to factors such as sun, wind and irrigation water with the aim of optimizing their location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agroforestry<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This technique consists of combining trees, shrubs and agricultural crops on the same land whenever the variety allows it. Mixing crops with designs of specific areas to attract and maintain pollinators such as bee hives and butterflies, favor the fertilization of many plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avoid pesticides<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our technicians study the terrain and the crops, the climate of the area. We assess the number of sensors and the ideal situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
