Basically it consisted of piling the waste or mixing organics with straw with the result of manure and in this way transforming them to use as fertilizer. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Currently we can do it in the traditional way or in composting plants, especially if we have large amounts of organic matter such as pruning from large city parks or intensive crops. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The factors that influence composting are:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>The waste<\/strong> must be shredded. It influences the time it takes to compost.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>The pH<\/strong> of organic matter that activates fungi and bacteria. It varies throughout the process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>The proportion of carbon and nitrogen<\/strong> in the waste that influences its quality. It is convenient to mix different types of waste to achieve a balance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Presence of <strong>oxygen<\/strong>, for this reason it is advisable to turn the waste from time to time. The action of microbes is activated. We also get by turning it that the matter becomes more homogeneous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>The temperature<\/strong> influences the formation of fungi and bacteria. The best thing is that it oscillates between 35\u00baC and 50\u00baC. Si est\u00e1 esparcido se seca f\u00e1cilmente. Si est\u00e1 amontonado se. fermenta debido a las bacterias, la temperatura, el pH y la humedad que descomponen los desechos. La temperatura aumenta y puede desprender un olor desagradable. Si lo volteamos se seca y se evita la fermentaci\u00f3n, a la  vez que bajamos la temperatura.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Anaer\u00f3bico<\/strong>: es lo contrario del anterior. Necesitamos un dep\u00f3sito en donde depositar los desechos y dejarlo que fermente durante un a\u00f1o entero. Lo m\u00e1s inc\u00f3modo es el desagradable olor que desprende. Similar a los vertederos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Puede ser enterrado<\/strong>: hacer un  agujero lo suficientemente grande para que podamos introducir los residuos. Mezclar los residuos  org\u00e1nicos con tierra y proporcionar humedad y tiempo, unas 6 semanas como m\u00ednimo. La humedad y el ox\u00edgeno convierten los residuos en compost. Este proceso es el menos laborioso y m\u00e1s c\u00f3modo en huertos y fincas de cultivo que tengan restos de cosechas. En vez de un solo agujero podemos hacer surcos que facilitan la dispersi\u00f3n del compost.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Recipiente de madera<\/strong> en el que podemos introducir los residuos como podemos observar en el esquema siguiente. The temperature begins to rise and microorganisms multiply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Thermophilic<\/strong>: the second phase of composting where the temperature rises to around 40\u00baC and the bacteria activate the process and reduce the fungi.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Cooling<\/strong>: the temperature drops below 40\u00baC again and the fungi reappear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Maturation<\/strong>: rest for months at medium temperature that ends in the decomposition of the materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fertilize with compost<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most ecological way to fertilize the soil and improve its structure is to use compost.
