We also conducted a training and maintenance session, ensuring that staff can make the most of the implemented technological tools. It continues to evolve its products and software, focusing on greater efficiency and responsible water use, values \u200b\u200bwe at Energow fully share.<br><br>We continue to drive technological solutions that combine innovation, sustainability, and knowledge, because we believe the future is built with concrete actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>Update of humidity and temperature sensors in April 2021<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><br><br>After obtaining magnificent results in controlling the humidity and temperature of the soil in the gardens, we expanded the control areas with probes at different depths, depending on the root system of the plants and the amount of humidity they require.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parts of the botanical garden<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most of the species run through a sample of Mediterranean climate plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\"><a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Clima_mediterrneo\" target=\"_self\">The Mediterranean climate<\/a> is not exclusive to the Mediterranean Sea environment.<br>It is characterized for a long and quite dry summer, mild winters with average temperatures and rains in spring and autumn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"434\" src=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/mapa-clima.jpg\" alt=\"Clima Mediterr\u00e1neo\" class=\"wp-image-86075\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/mapa-clima.jpg 800w, https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/mapa-clima-300x163.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/mapa-clima-768x417.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/mapa-clima-18x10.jpg 18w, https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/mapa-clima-600x326.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Mediterranean climate<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This type of climate is found in different areas of the planet, which are represented in the Montjuic Botanical Garden:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Canary Islands.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>South Africa.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Australia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>California.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eastern Mediterranean.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Western Mediterranean.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The highlight is the variety of plant species from different parts of the world. Very pleasant walk for a different approach to the diversity of nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A visit in spring is recommended with the plants in bloom and the different shades of colors that we can see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Control of the different areas of the botanical garden<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not everything needs the same irrigation, it depends on the species that we find:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Trees and palms<\/strong> with deeper roots and deeper sensors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Lawn<\/strong> with buried and shallow sensors. High humidity is always needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Carpet and vivacious plants<\/strong>: they require a controlled irrigation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Hedges and shrubs<\/strong>, with less need for irrigation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Flower groups<\/strong> with controlled irrigation, especially in spring and summer when they bloom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Garden management<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The priority is to optimize irrigation in all sectors.
