continue our tests of humidity sensors expanding to other crops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Test with humidity sensors in pistachio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\"><strong> We went to the tests of <a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/aplicacion-plantae\/\" target=\"_self\"> our technology <\/a> in a real environment, we have made a new installation of sensors in a piece of land within the region of Los Navalucillos (Toledo). <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With a clay soil and pistachios planted 3 years ago, we will look for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Analyze the behavior of these trees in the periods prior to spring to study humidity at different depths.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find the right time to start watering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then in March and April it will be time to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>See the alterations of the measurements with the start of drip irrigation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carry out the incorporation of new sensors to see the performance of the terrain before this type of pistachio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Second test of humidity sensors in almond trees<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\"><strong> We visited the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.campmallorqui.es\/\" target=\"_self\"> facilities <\/a> of Camp Mallorqu\u00ed in Palma de Mallorca and its testing ground with 10 different kinds of almond trees . <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">His study tries to analyze the behavior of these different types of tree with 3 drip irrigation systems, for which the <a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/aplicacion-plantae\/\" target> sensors <\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/plantae-application\/\" target=\"_self\"> Plantae <\/a> with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Different depths.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Different locations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"672\" height=\"380\" src=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Finca-experimental-almendros-2.jpg\" alt=\"Finca experimental de almendros con sensores de humedad\" class=\"wp-image-79409\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Experimental almond farm with humidity sensors<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This new implementation at Camp Mallorqu\u00ed will be key to:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Refine the humidity sensor test data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>See its impact on the almond tree sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Walnut test<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\"><strong> <\/strong> <strong> walnut trees were from the last <a href=\"http:\/\/en.plants-and-animals.wikia.com\/wiki\/Walnut\" target=\"_self\"> fruit trees dry <\/a> in which we had to install <a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/#technology\" target=\"_self\"> sensors <\/a>, although in this case with the peculiarity of measuring humidity 70 centimeters deep. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We installed 16 sensors in a 300-hectare walnut farm to measure four different irrigation sectors, placing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 sensors in the drip zone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 sensors in the non-drip one.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All of them measuring up to 70 centimeters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Irrigation in the walnut trees<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These trees respond very well to irrigation with artificial water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the walnut growing season, lack of watering can make a percentage of walnuts smaller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Waterlogging is not convenient for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For all these reasons, farmers see the installation of our sensors as very positive.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-heading\">Last tests in C\u00f3rdoba in olive tree<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hand in hand with our Agrosan collaborators and the olive tree expert Don Carlos Navarro from the province of C\u00f3rdoba, we carried out a final experimental test in:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">A <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Monte_de_los_Olivos\" target=\"_self\"> field <\/a> of olive trees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Another one of almond trees planted in 2007.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In plants from the Agrosan nursery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objective of the test carried out in C\u00f3rdoba<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">We will be able to compare our measurements with the data collection with other professional sensors on the market (with prices up to 50 times higher than the sensors <a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/\" target=\"_self\"> Plantae <\/a>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">We are going to initiate new studies that link <a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/plantae-ahorro-agua-inteligente\/\" target=\"_self\"> saving water <\/a> with improved productivity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Outcome research is paramount for the future of plantae.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We finished the 2.1 sensors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">After many hours of work to improve the communication technology of the new sensor prototypes, <a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/\" target=\"_self\"> our hardware and product development team <\/a> puts an end to calibration and testing tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
