If it is on a stand, humidity control by probes is very important to save water and energy and improve production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Importance of using probes (sensors) with hydroponic irrigation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright size-large is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"528\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/IMG_20191113_180608-e1612610499560.jpg\" alt=\"Sonda (sensor) de temperatura en fresa\" class=\"wp-image-79080\" style=\"width:334px;height:380px\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Bur temperature probe (sensor)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To obtain good results in this type of crops, one of the most important factors is irrigation control. Use the appropriate water, low in salts and keep the installation controlled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When working without soil, humidity control and conductivity become essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong> The humidity probe <\/strong>: controls the need for water at all times and in real time. Avoid the water stress of the plant. We provide the crop with the water it needs and when it needs it. Rock wool and coconut fiber retain moisture well but should not exceed 80%. The probe allows us to have a constant and adequate humidity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong> Conductivity sensors <\/strong>: they measure the conductive tendency in such a way that they indicate the accumulation of salts at all times. This combined with pH measurements with litmus tapes, tell us if we should add fertilizer or salinity and sodium correctors. It is one of the most important factors in hydroponic cultivation. If the plant has excess salinity it does not absorb the adequate nutrients. The type of water greatly influences the accumulation of salts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong> Temperature sensors <\/strong>: their control allows us to assess the state of the roots, the risk of diseases such as fungi, etc. In addition, the temperature of the nutrient solution must be slightly higher than that of the environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The probes therefore allow the measurement of pH, salinity, luminosity, temperature and oxygen. The more controlled everything is, the better for the quantity and quality of production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hydroponic irrigation sensors \/ probes can take readings every two minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advantages of optimized irrigation in hydroponics with probes (smart sensors)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The most important thing is the quality of the crop. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avoid diseases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save water and energy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This type of cultivation in principle has strong investments.
