Narrow Band IoT <\/strong> is the first technology focused on connecting everyday objects that require small amounts of data over long periods of time to the internet. This technology has been developed to enable efficient communications and high battery life for massively distributed devices. It uses the already existing mobile network to connect all these objects. It is ideal for devices that generate not very high data traffic and have a long life cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IoT: Internet of Things <\/em> <\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It describes the network of physical objects (things) that carry built-in sensors, software and other technologies in order to connect and exchange data with other devices and systems over the internet without human intervention. These devices range from everyday household items to sophisticated industrial tools. With more than 7 billion IoT devices connected today, experts predict this number will rise to 10 billion this year and 22 billion in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Plantae we have used this technology since our inception to be able to send the data captured by our sensors to the cloud, in this way it is easier to exploit and present them in our tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
