As we will detail later, the mango needs controlled irrigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is a very attractive tree, with large leaves, therefore it produces a lot of shade and wants heat, sun and controlled humidity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Plantae does not sell plants or advise on the variety or type of mango to plant in its area or region. For this reason they must be frequent and with the right amount you need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mango production in Spain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For all the requirements that we have cited, the regions that best adapt to mango cultivation are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Balearic Islands.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>South of Andalusia, especially Malaga, Granada and Almer\u00eda.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Murcia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Canarias.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comunidad Valenciana.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mango varieties<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most outstanding and cultivated varieties in our country are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Osteen, one of the earliest and the most produced in Spain.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keitt, late production.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kent, mid-season.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tommy Atkins, the earliest, since August.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"662\" height=\"766\" src=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Variedades-1.jpg\" alt=\"Variedades del mango\" class=\"wp-image-76277\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Mango varieties<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mango soil type<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/terreno-piramide--1024x877.jpg\" alt=\"Terreno id\u00f3neo de mango\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">USDA terrain map<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It needs a soil with enough depth to allow its roots to develop, which are wide and deep and at the same time of light composition and very drained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In compact soils it is difficult for him to root and this affects the good growth of the tree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Climate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have already commented that it requires a subtropical climate, and it is therefore in the entire Mediterranean basin where it manages to adapt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It does not tolerate cold temperatures.
