{"id":70362,"date":"2019-05-15T00:48:53","date_gmt":"2019-05-15T00:48:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/?p=70362"},"modified":"2024-04-11T19:32:06","modified_gmt":"2024-04-11T17:32:06","slug":"el-riego-con-sensores-plantae-en-toda-la-peninsula","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/el-riego-con-sensores-plantae-en-toda-la-peninsula\/","title":{"rendered":"Irrigation with Plantae sensors \/ probes throughout the Peninsula- (100% optimal)"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> After more than two years visiting many Communities, we can proudly say that more than half Spain and some areas of Portugal and Algeria control and optimize the <\/span> <strong style=\"font-size: 16px\"> irrigation with sensors <\/strong> <span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> and Plantae humidity probes. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Although the idea of \u200b\u200bthe technology emerged at the end of 2013, it was in <strong> autumn 2016 <\/strong> when our project turned to the agricultural sector and experimentally sensors were installed in pistachio trees in Ciudad Real and olive trees in Toledo. With a product that lacked much room for improvement, we immediately observed with the technicians and farmers that the results were excellent in <strong> saving water, optimizing resources and controlling humidity. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Irrigation with probes and humidity sensors. Precision farming<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The need to control irrigation with humidity probes and sensors is increasing, because periods of drought are a concern for farmers around the world and especially in warm areas such as central and southern Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">In the last decade, technology has advanced considerably and has reached agriculture, transforming it into <a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/category\/agricultura-de-precision-probes-sensores\/\" target=\"_self\"> <strong> PRECISION AGRICULTURE <\/strong> <\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading translation-block\">What is <a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/agricultura-de-precision-con-sensores-y-otras-tecnologias\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">precision agriculture<\/a>?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">It is to bring to agricultural land terms such as: <strong> big data, satellite images, NB-Iot technology, smart sensors and probes <\/strong>, <strong> drones, satellite images. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today it is a reality to do:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/the-hydric-balance-of-soil-and-the-tomatoes-rose-de-barbastro\/\" target=\"_self\"> Water balances <\/a> <\/strong> of the crops.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong> evapotranspiration studies: <\/strong> (evaporation of water from the soil and transpiration of the plant).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Measure all the <strong> parameters <\/strong> that lead us to optimize spending and increase the quality and quantity of crops.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong> Field capacity <\/strong>: or maximum capacity of the soil to accumulate water depending on the type of terrain.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong> Wilting point <\/strong>: the accumulation of water in the soil and the point from which the plant stops absorbing water.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plantae focuses on precision soil agriculture, with irrigation moisture probes, subsurface temperature probes and conductivity meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Plantae Technology <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\"><strong> Plantae technology controls <\/strong> the crop in the environment of the root system, that is, it applies <strong> precision agriculture to the subsoil <\/strong> of the plots in real time through measurements with <strong> agricultural probes and sensors <\/strong> at different depths, measurement of humidity, temperature and conductivity and with readings programmed according to the customer's interest. This information is received on the mobile or Tablet as graphs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The most important thing is to have the <strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/products\/agro\/\" target=\"_self\"> Plantae-Agro <\/a> <\/strong> team that helps the understanding of the data that the client sees and guides them in making decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The starting point is to make a detailed study for the design of the installation. From that moment on, the farmer is informed in detail about the technological process that we apply to the crop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Irrigation with sensors and probes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading translation-block\"><strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/products\/station\/\" target=\"_self\"> Sensors (probe <\/a> s) <\/strong> of:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong> Soil moisture <\/strong> at different depths and automatically, we measure how much and when to water.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Conductive trend<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong> Surface \/ subsoil temperature <\/strong>, without the need for cables or complicated installations focused on optimizing irrigation and saving water.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/caudalimetro-de-riego\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Flowmeter<\/a> 16-20mm y Caudal\u00edmetro de Sector<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Control of the irrigation of the hose or dripper. Estimate water consumption and possible breakdowns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hub \/ receiver<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It receives the data from the wireless sensors and sends it to the platform. It keeps the farmer informed of his crops in real time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/estacion-meteo-de-riego\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Meteo Station<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pluviometer.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>RH.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Room temperature.<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/manager\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Plantae Manager<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">A web management panel from which you can consult the data that the <strong> probes <\/strong> collect in the field in real time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/agro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Plantae Agro<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A team of agricultural technicians and engineers at your disposal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our team makes a detailed study of the probes that the crop needs, the depth of the root system, the type of terrain and assesses the shape of the wet bulb.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We can adapt the probes to a wide variety of crops, to all irrigation systems and to all types of terrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Irrigation with humidity probes is especially important in <strong> intensive crops <\/strong> of any variety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plants in intensive crops increase the needs of water and nutrients, while increasing irrigation increases salinity problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The installation of irrigation with probes and sensors of humidity, conductivity and soil temperature, makes all the factors that are not visible to the farmer take a view in the form of graphs on his mobile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advantages of the application to irrigation with sensors \/ probe<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Knowing <strong> the humidity <\/strong> of the subsoil, the irrigation cycles, quantity, frequency and duration can be adjusted to provide the crop with the water it needs within the Easily Assimilable Water (AFA) zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The <strong> conductivity <\/strong> reading allows salinity levels to be kept below thresholds that are harmful to plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The <strong> surface temperature <\/strong> helps to take action against frost and other applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The <strong> subsoil temperature <\/strong> (up to 60cm deep) reflects the state of the root activity of the crop and helps in making decisions for the application of fertilizers and treatments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plantae\u00aeSonda sensors are customizable in measurement depth (up to 1 meter) and reading frequency (from 2 minutes to 1 hour per reading). It can be installed both on the surface and buried according to the preferences and irrigation characteristics of the client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">In addition, the probes are configured with <strong> agronomic algorithms <\/strong> depending on the type of soil in which they are installed and its conductivity level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The housing of the sensors has an IP65 certification, resistant to water and other chemical elements, thus allowing the sensors to be perfectly compatible with the application of irrigation and other phytosanitary products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Evolution of Plantae in sensor irrigation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After this first test, in 2017 we installed 100 sensors for free and experimentally in a dozen crops, attending at the same time many agricultural, fruit, oleic and all kinds of fairs, always related to precision agriculture and irrigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Little by little our project began to take shape, with the first clients arriving in the spring of 2017 and consolidating the Plantae model a year later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The path to introducing sensor irrigation has not been easy:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Improve <strong> communication <\/strong> between sensor and hub \/ receiver from 50 meters to the 700 that our stations reach today in any location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Improvement of the technology and <strong> measurement algorithms <\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Improvement of <strong> materials <\/strong>, <strong> development <\/strong> of mobile APP and successive updates of the Manager Plantae.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Study of <strong> conductivity <\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">And endless tasks that have been happening up to the <strong> more than 100 clients <\/strong> that
