Its production is exclusive to this Municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Factors that favor the development of Jumilla pears<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">The most important factor is the <strong> Altiplano climate <\/strong> which is cool in winter and hot in summer, with an average annual temperature of 16\u00ba. In spring frosts and rains are scarce, this favors flowering.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">The second factor is the <strong> number of hot days <\/strong>. The drip irrigation system is the best, it allows you to add fertilizers that help improve production and avoid evaporation. There are many varieties, depending on the taste, sweetness, acidity, and mildness or harshness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" commercialization:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One of the most important is the improvement of infrastructures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The creation of aquifers that allow irrigation of the area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The creation of plantations with drip irrigation and controlled by humidity sensors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Very significant that its production lasts from June to October.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>These factors make the area a very important point of pear production, with the creation of cooperatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">It is currently the first national and European producer of <strong> arcolina pear <\/strong> with about 1,400 hectares of pear trees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Characteristics of the appellation of origin of the pears of Jumilla<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Data obtained from the regulatory council that has been operating since 2004:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul
