{"id":67727,"date":"2018-05-10T10:57:52","date_gmt":"2018-05-10T10:57:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/?p=67727"},"modified":"2024-05-06T20:07:15","modified_gmt":"2024-05-06T18:07:15","slug":"tecnologia-plantae-de-700m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ant.plantae.lavallweb.com\/en\/tecnologia-plantae-de-700m\/","title":{"rendered":"Plantae technology reaches 700 meters-Cordless probes"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>At last we can say that the experimentation phase of the new LORA communication Plantae technology implemented in our sensors and hub is over.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\"><strong> Plantae Technology <\/strong>: the first sensors have already been installed in some of our clients' farms and throughout this month we will continue to replicate these devices in various scenarios and topographies, <strong> reaching in all cases the 700 meters of communication distance between sensor and receiver (hub). <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is LoRa technology?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading translation-block\">LoRa is a <a href=\"http:\/\/herbaceous crops\" data-wplink-url-error=\"true\" target=\"_self\"> type of modulation <\/a> in radio frequency that allows us to make measurements in areas with little coverage at distances of up to 1 kilometer.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading translation-block\">While sensors based on <em> 868 <\/em> radio frequency technology reach a distance of 40 - 50 meters, LoRa sensors are capable of reaching distances of up to 1 km in a very favorable case.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How does this technology improve Plantae sensors?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we usually point out in this blog, one of the most important benefits of Plantae technology is the wireless component. This allows data to be obtained in real time without hindering tillage and other day-to-day tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Until now, the limitations of <em> 868 <\/em> technology made it necessary to install different hubs to cover large surfaces.
