Precision viticulture. 1.- Espalier vineyard. 2.- High-pressure drip irrigation. 3.- Humidity, temperature and conductivity probes.
  • Humidity probes: provide precise data on how much water is available for the vine at different depths.
  • Soil temperature sensor: Allows evaluation of root development and water evaporation, which depends on the outside temperature and whether or not there is cover.
  • Electrical Conductivity (EC) Probe: Indicates salinity at different depths and nutrient availability in the soil. It increases at the surface as evaporation increases.
  • Solar radiation sensor: Measures global solar radiation, that is, the sum at the measurement point of the direct, diffuse and reflected components.
  • Weather station: To evaluate evapotranspiration, outside temperature and relative humidity.
  • Satellite images: To monitor humidity zones, assess the best position of probes and plant growth.
  • Flow meter. Controls irrigation in the hose or dripper (16-20mm) or in the irrigation sectors.
