Fundão Agricultural Innovation Fair (Portugal) - 4th Edition

The 4th edition of the Fundão Agricultural Innovation Fair will be held from July 3 to 6, 2025, at Amália Rodrigues Square, next to the Fundão Business and Services Center.

Objectives of theFundãoAgricultural Innovation Fair

This year, the fair's theme will be "The role of robotics, AI and Big Data in agriculture" and will be part of the international event "World FIRA 2025" for the first time, a global benchmark in agricultural automation and robotics.

The event will feature exhibitors of advanced technological solutions, animal competitions, exhibitions, conferences, field demonstrations, networking opportunities, and tastings of regional products.

Agrifood Summit Fundão 2025

Smart Agrifood Summit 2025 is a key event in the field of European agrifood innovation. As part of the Agrosocial project of the INTERREG-POCTEP program, it will bring together experts, startups, and institutional leaders to address challenges such as digitalization, sustainability, artificial intelligence, and generational change in the agrifood sector.

Plantae will hold a high-level satellite event at SmartAgrifood Fundão 2025, on July 5.

Additionally, prominent speakers such as Juan Francisco Delgado, Executive Vice President of the INTEC Foundation, and Pablo García Rodríguez, Head of Quality and AI at the University of Extremadura, will share their knowledge on the impact of AI on agri-food production and distribution, as well as on food traceability and safety using sensors and IoT.

  • They help in decision-making throughout the entire phenological stage of the crop.
  • We managed to optimize resources to reduce costs by 30% to 50% while improving productivity.
